Now only hours away, one of the most awaited science fiction films is about go all out in the big screen (including IMAX). After the Dark Knight, a major hit, ironically, due to the Joker (Heath Ledger); Christopher Nolan has set off and made what might be one of the biggest summer blockbusters.

“Mind blowing…James Bond meets ‘The Matrix.'” Peter Travers. Rolling Stone.

Now if you have seen both those series of films, you should be able to tell that Inception will be something much, much bigger. If all the hype adds up, Inception might just replace Christopher Nolan’s said masterpiece: “Memento.”

Here is the IMDB synopsis:

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible: inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

As you  an see, Nolan takes the audience into the depths of the very mind, surely something to see. Although, it sets the expectations extremely high, and this where we come to the topic of hyped up reviews. People have been wondering if everyone is just a little too excited and exaggerating everything about the film by over interpreting the trailers. It is true that the movie trailers do not really explain what the movie is about, rather they only give mind blowing scenes of action or wonder. However, it really can’t be said (with IMDB’s Inception’s popularity currently up by 175%) that Inception is not amazing. Every scene in the trailer promises amazing wonders. If nothing, Inception might easily surpass The Dark Knight.

“The story centers on a group of corporate thieves who insert themselves into people’s dreams to extract information. “What’s the most resilient parasite? An idea,” says the leader of these thieves, Dominic Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio), as he makes his pitch to a prospective client, Saito (Ken Watanabe).” – The Salt Lake Tribune.

However, If Loops, has not viewed the movie in theaters but will, and will have put up the movie review as soon as possible.
